Changing the Lens on Homelessness: A Public Discussion on Homelessness and Mental Health
Wednesday, March 1, 2023
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saratoga Springs City Center – Meeting Room 1
The Saratoga County Citizens Committee for Mental Health (SCCCMH) and the Saratoga County Alliance to End Homelessness have partnered to bring this important discussion to a public forum. The SCCCMH organized and co-sponsored this event as part of our focus on homelessness this year. Homelessness is a multi-faceted condition and to help people experiencing homelessness requires a multi-faceted understanding. This discussion will most certainly expand our understanding and perhaps lead to strategies to consider or implement.
The following panel of experts will lead the discussion on homelessness in Saratoga County:
Jenna Espey – RISE Housing and Support Services
Maggie Fonk – Wellspring
Kate Evanico – Saratoga Hospital Mental Health Unit
Stephanie Romeo – Shelters of Saratoga
Dr. Michael Prezioso – Saratoga County Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services
Heather Wolfe – Saratoga County Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services
Jennifer Myers – Unlimited Potential of Northern Rivers
Michael Moore – CAPTAIN Community Human Services
Heather Crola – Healing Springs Recovery Community Center
