Raising Awareness
A mission of the Saratoga County Citizens Committee for Mental Health (SCCCMH) is to raise awareness of the needs of individuals with mental illness in Saratoga County, NY. Furthermore, this mission includes efforts by the SCCCMH to reduce stigma often experienced by those individuals through educational and informational efforts.
Newsletter
The SCCCMH publishes a newsletter in the spring and fall. The newsletter has information for consumers, families, friends, professionals, and others. Mental health news, information, and the activities of the SCCCMH are included in this newsletter. Members receive a copy in the mail, and the newsletter is now also availble on this website.
SCCCMH Citizen of the Year
The Citizen of the Year Award recognizes individuals or agencies who stand out in the mental health community. The award is presented during May, which is national Mental Health Awareness Month.
