2009 Citizen of the Year
5The 2009“Citizen of the Year”, Dr. Edmond Amyot, was honored at the SCCCMH Annual Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser was held at Longfellows Restaurant on May 6. Dr. Amyot’s first job was with the Saratoga County Mental Health Clinic where he worked for 24 years. He has also been a member and leader of the medical staff of Saratoga Hospital. He is also now the Director of the Saratoga Hospital Inpatient Mental Health Unit. Several people spoke of Dr. Amyot’s contributions to the mental health community and how personally they were impacted by his caring and professional skills. Dr. Amyot was very honored and delighted to share the evening with his wife and family.
