FREE Movie Presentation: “Here One Day”

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Community Human Services and the Saratoga County Citizens Committee for Mental Health are providing a free presentation of this film to our community:
When:  Wednesday, November 12, 2014
Where:  Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library
475 Moe Road, Clifton Park, NY
Check in – 6:00 p.m., Film – 6:30 p.m.
Followed by Community Discussion and Q & A Session
The purpose of showing this film is to:
  • Reduce stigma around mental illness and suicide.
  • Create a safe space for others to share their experiences.
  • Link audiences to local, national, and international support.
  • Teach how mental illness and suicide impact entire families.
Here One Day has screened at some of the most prestigious documentary film festivals in the
world including the International Documentary Film Festival (IDFA), Hot Docs Canadian
International Documentary Festival, and DOC NYC. The film is now being used in hundreds
of classrooms and community settings across the country.
